Casey Anthony’s parents will break their silence to Dr. Phil during his season 10 premiere episode.
Airing Sept. 12, the interview will mark the first time Cindy and George Anthony have spoken publicly since their daughter was acquitted of murder charges in July. “Cindy and George have suffered a horrific loss with the untimely death of their granddaughter Caylee, and they have since endured an unprecedented public attack on their family,” Dr. Phil said in a release. “Have these attacks been warranted, or not? I looked them straight in the eye and asked some very tough questions. Despite living under a ‘media microscope’ for years, THEIR story has never really been told and there’s so much more to it than we’ve heard in the media. Throughout this extensive interview, we explore every detail of their ordeal, and they answer every question I know will be on our viewers’ minds. Nothing is off limits during this interview.”

No point in getting Casey – nothing that comes out of her mouth will be the truth, never has and never will. So why bother and afford the money only to hear more lies? The possiblity of getting some truth is more likely from the parents.
I agree Mimi of Toronto. Problem is, Casey learned everything she knows from Mama and Papa, as Cindy illustrated on the stand when she perjured herself. The only question I have is….why did no one in this family stand up for Caylee?
you won’t get the truth out of any of the anthonys, and when i used to watch Phil he is too soft on the people he should be the hardest on. this too is nothing but ratings for phil and more publicity and money for the anthonys

On first blush this seems to be a terrible thing to say, however it has come to light that Oprah’s so called experts were far from that in their own lives ie experts on relationships, money etc – because this is a tv show, the show becomes more important than truth.
Time for their 60 minutes of fame.
How much for the “exclusive interview”? They should donate the money to a fund for missing children.
Well it’s not like any place will hire them so they probably need the money so they can…you know…eat, live in shelter, and so on.
I can’t say that I feel bad for them – they put themselves in that situation. It is disgusting to think that they would be making any money off of their dead granddaughter.

They are receiving $0 for the interview BUT asked for a donation made to the charitable organization they are forming to honor Caylee, called Caylee’s Fund.
I wonder how long before they use that money for another vacation.
They didn’t pay for the vacation they just took. Some rich guy felt bad for them and paid for them to go to the Bahama’s or wherever it was they went.
So now Cindy and George have a charity in Caylee’s honor,where was the charilty when she was alive?

I didn’t think my opinion of “Dr” Phil could sink much lower, but I was wrong.
And it begins…….I’m not surprised it’s Dr. Phil and it just reinforces my loss of respect for him that began a long time ago. Give it a couple of weeks and they’ll be on TMZ spending the 250K or whatever on an island vacation. Pathetic bunch all of them.
You know you will all be watching. I am interested in hearing what they have to say. Plus I think Phil will ask them some tough questions. Like why the hell that witch lied on the stand to cover for her murderess daughter??

I believe Casey is as guilty as sin. I also believe the Anthony parents, especially the mother, were hiding things on the stand. I can’t totally blame them for doing it.
I dont care who it is..if someone killed their baby, my grand daughter I would not lie for them. That is an excuse. Cindy lied all her life to cover things. She is not a good person
So in essence, we can give the family members all outs to lie on the stand? Lie to Children Services? Lie to the police? because they are family members? .So how does this permission for family to lie on the stand work with the fact that when there’s someone missing or foul play, family are the first to undergo scrutiny?

Not me. I won’t be watching. I used to watch Dr. Phil. I’ll read him in O Mag because his written work isn’t exploitative, but I can’t watch him anymore. More like I don’t want to actually see the wingnuts who consent to being on the show. I wish he’d class it up so it would be more like his articles in O Mag. Too bad Phil’s show can’t be a “classy” psychology show, but that wouldn’t sell ad space.
