CBS tweeted a couple choice pics of former House co-star Lisa Edelstein on the set of The Good Wife, where she has a recurring role next season as a lawyer and expert poker player. Here’s Edelstein along with Josh Charles, who she previously worked with on Sports Night. “I have to say, @BaltimoreJosh really makes the workplace a nice place to be,” she wrote.
Why’s this show called the good wife?
Because it’s about an expert sandwich-making woman.

There are many meanings, but the big one is that a good wife makes it clear that actions have consequences.
Because if it were the bad wife, it would need to be on Oxygen or Lifetime, and there would be more foul language.

haha I think that I’ve watched Eli’s Coming way too many times. great episode!
I always thought the show was about how the main character, a woman whose husband cheated on her while having a very public life has to constantly made the public and the media guess if she is really at fault for not giving him what he needs or is innocent in the court of public opinion. Their opiniion doesn’t matter of course but the woman is always in the line of fire. The spotlight is always on her, her children, etc.
Good answer, but I think it also has to do with Alicia making sacrifices. She didn’t kick hubby to the curb because her children loved him. Hopefully now she is getting more independent.

Biggest mistake of her life, House is the best show ever. She needs to come back. Ended on a crappy note, just when things got interesting between house and her, she decides to leave the show.
