Lee Adama is headed back to cable.

Battlestar Galactica veteran Jamie Bamber is set to guest star at least twice on TNT’s upcoming new series Perception. The drama stars Eric McCormack as an eccentric neuroscientist and university professor who helps the FBI solve complex crimes. Bamber will guest-star as Michael Hathaway, a professor who entices Rachael Leigh Cook’s character (the professor’s FBI handler). Bamber, by the way, also has a previously announced role coming up on CSI: Miami.

Perception premieres next summer.

Squee! I’m so glad Jamie is coming back to U.S. TV. Still I wish he was starring or at least part of an ensemble rather than guest-starring. Maybe soon.

    • MIffy

“Squee”? Does anybody really say that anymore?

On top of everything else, should we be constantly looking over our shoulders about making sure we TALK just like everyone else now?
Nah – along with burning every tight-a$$ 80s themed graphic tee on the planet, I also vote for keeping language varied and unique as much as possible, especially if it means keeping all of you dessicated hipsters in your studio apartments. Can I get a SQUEE????!!!! Squeeeee!!!

      • Potluck

Hipster miffy is mad that Borders closed down – without the minimum-wage baristas, there isn’t anyone she can treat like $hit anymore! BTW she also read all the books without buying.

        Double squee!!

Gorramitt, we need him in Game of Thrones.

Okayfine, it’s a guest role.. he can still play.

  • crispy

This won’t get me to watch this show… but I will definitely look at the pictures on the internet the next day of him wearing a towel.

  • Kaederin

Meow! I love Jamie Bamber and will pretty much watch anything once just to see him on it! If you haven’t watched any Law & Order: UK, then you’re missing on out the real deal with him – it’s a quality version of the L/O franchise (a hell of a lot better than Criminal Intent with its HORRIBLE acting)

  • Melissa

I’m happy he’s getting more roles here, but I want more L&O:UK!

You had me at Jamie but lost me at Eric McCormack-can’t stand him. Too bad, Jamies great. He deserves better.

  • Kristie

I’ll watch Jamie Bamber in anything. I sat through an entire episode of Outcasts just to see him get …….. at the end (no spoilers). I even watched him in that ep of Dollhouse. That was the ONLY ep of Dollhouse he got. I couldn’t even get behind Tahmoh on that one…

  • BSG

    More Tahmoh!!!

  • Lori

I miss BSG, but love watching the cast move on from it. It was a heavy show.

  • Julie

    *drool* Love Jamie!

Um, why does Perception sound like a lame Fringe ripoff?

  • kelly

Love Jamie, will watch for him.

  • AJ

That is one fine looking man in that photo…. ;) ~~~

  • Kate

Delicious man. Handsome, talented, and smart as a whip. I would watch him read the phone book. In fact, I’d probably TiVo that for repeat viewing.
