Terry O'Quinn on 'Hawaii Five-0' first trailer -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

Terry O’Quinn isn’t going to be stuck behind a desk on Hawaii Five-0.

From the looks of this first trailer for the show’s second season, O’Quinn is a man of action as he takes on bad guys with Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin). The Lost veteran plays a Navy Seal Lt. Commander who trained McGarrett on the show, which has also enlisted guest stars like Patty Duke, Lauren German, and Tom Sizemore.

Check out this exclusive first look at O’Quinn taking aim at Hawaii Five-0, which returns Sept. 19. “You’re not exactly the Aloha type… “

    Can’t Wait!!

I’ve seen the this show a few times before, but now it officially has Jin, Boomer/Athena, and John Freaking Locke! I have to become a regular viewer!

      • i dont know

I like the new Hawaii Five O, its not a great show by any means but it is certainly entertaining. I do think that John Locke deserves better, a role that is juicier, he has already paid his acting dues in supporting roles, it is time he takes on a good leading role

  • Zoe

How fun! Love to see “Locke” back on my TV, in Hawaii, and with DDK again. (Maybe McGarrett will run into the smoke monster too?)

    • Robin

      Smoke monster! LOL!!

      • BJG

Hawii 5-O and Lost are beth set on islands where foreign accents go to die. Sayed and Mr. Echo are both English and McGarret is Australian. Maybe that’s what Terry O’Quinn’s character is investigating. A mysterous cabal of accent coaches.

  • Ann

Yay! Terry O’Quinn is back on TV! This is awesome. I’m going to have to watch this now.

    • TQB

Come for O’Quinn, stay for DDK and the familiar scenery!

    • Angelo Barovier

I guess he just likes Hawaii (not that I blame him).

    • JJ

OMG. This is going to be AWESOME

  • tomm

He is not playing “Locke”! Don’t expect the actors from ‘Lost’ to be the same characters in their new jobs.

    • Peter

Too bad this promo acts like he is, with the big reveal of the “one man” who can save them.

    • Andrei

Actually, it looks pretty similar to a the type of character he did in a guest spot on NCIS a couple of years ago….

    • Crazy

No crap this is not LOST. LOST was an awesome show. But we get excited because LOST actors were the best, especially Terry O’Quinn.

      • Jaded

Right on crazy! Terry O’Quinn so kicked ass in LOST and I can’t wait to see him on H5-0!!!

      • Liz

Thank you! We aren’t stupid. Its just exciting to see some of Lost grates on TV together.

    • Emjay

      How astute you are.

  • j c

Tv hasn’t been the same for me since LOST ended.

Glad to see ToQ back on TV. Definitely one of (if not the) best actors on TV.

  • bluebonnetbelle

This clip put a smile on my face. I would watch Terry O’Quinn read a phone book. Will have to give the show another go round.

  • Jim

Loved “Lost” Will give this show a try

  • Anna

I think he will always be John Locke to me, but I’m glad he is on tv again.

  • Cindy R

Hurry up and get here!!! Argghhh! I can’t wait!!
Aloha Hawaii 5-0! I need a McGarrett fix NOW!

Terry et Alex , sa vas etre super !
    il vas avoir de l’actions
    vivement la saison 2

  • doopey1

Locke and Jin reunited on the island, YES! C’mon, it will be fun. Hawaii Five-O is just a fun, enjoyable show to begin with, you can tell the cast has a good time. I hope he meshes well with the rest of the group and that he gets some good scenes with Daniel Dae Kim.

  • Michelle

I’m not sure how I feel about this. It took me so long to get used to referring to DDK as Chin and not Jin! But now he’ll be back in scenes with Locke. This is gonna be weird for a while, but eventually I’ll get over it. ;)

Can’t wait for this season. Adding Terry O’Quinn is a great bit of casting. I already liked the show. Hopefully, this will bring in more viewers. I mean, how can you not like this guy? I’ve been a fan of his for years.

  • Em

Ok 5-0, you have won me back over…
