USA network is on fire.
“White Collar” and “Covert Affairs” were my favorites this summer. Well, heck, every summer now! I like “Necessary Roughness” and “Royal Pains”, but admit that I’m not yet on board with “Suits” (not sure why). I’ll have to catch a “Suits” ep online and give it another look. USA Network rocks!
I love “White Collar” and “Royal Pains”, but “Necessary Roughness” hasn’t really hit for me. I enjoy “Covert Affairs”, but don’t find the need to watch or DVR it. I haven’t tried “Suits” yet.

Finally, The Killing was just plain awesome, but most network tv is for those dazzled by CSI

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by “Suits”. The original premise as presented in the pilot was kind of lame but the leads are charismatic and the storylines pretty relevant.
Hi Cindy, First you should get a flu shot. When I have a cold (which I get many) I take Airborne, Dayquil to get me thruogh daytimes then at night I take 1 Nyquil capsule and use Vicks Sinex 12 hour nasal spray for the 3 first (usually the worst) days only so I can at least sleep at night. For sore throats and coughing I use Hall’s Honey Lemon lozenges. As you can see I’m a pro at cold relief and have been doing this for years. Try some of these remedies..they do help. Also tea with honey and lemon is soothing. I hope this info helps.
Mounted in Alaska is a show about Bristol Palin.

There are some mistakes, the numbers for MTV are Live+same day while the numbers for TNT or USA Network are Live+7. So you can’t compare all these ratings
The dumbing down of America continues. Of ALL the shows on cable TV this heaping mound of dog poo is #1. That says a lot about U.S. pop culture consumers and how shallow they have become. You all are pathetic. Go read a book and learn something.

I like the star of “Necessary Roughness.” I just wish the character wasn’t such an ass. And a lousy Mom. And get rid of her kids. Brats. Makes one almost wish she would become an amoral temptress, like the “Nancy Botwin” character on “Weeds.” She is smart–and hot.
