Anthony-Tyler-Quinn

It’s a big day for Boy Meets World alums! First Ben Savage books Bones, and now this!

EW had learned exclusively that Mr. Turner, erm, Anthony Tyler Quinn is coming to Rosewood.

Quinn will play Ron, an old friend and colleague of Aria’s dad Byron (Chad Lowe), who returns to town from overseas, with a 16-year-old hottie son in tow. Quinn, whose other credits include Melrose Place and Caroline in the City, is currently only in one episode, but is scheduled to appear in episodes that will air in early 2012, when the second half of season 2 gets underway.

Fellow ’90 children, is anyone else feeling like today is our day?

'Leverage' summer finale: Mark Sheppard on his return, duking it out with Christian Kane -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

Leverage

Between his stints on Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica and Leverage, Mark Sheppard is a familiar face to many fandoms. And on this Sunday’s episode of Leverage, fans hoping to see the face of wise-cracking Interpool agent James Sterling again will get their fix when he joins the team for a job on the show’s summer finale.

“It’s been a joy playing this character from the start,” says Sheppard, whose character was last seen in season 2. “The basis for this character is Sterling never loses. And if you put Sterling into a situation with other people who never lose — like Eliot [Christian Kane], Elliot never loses a fight — it’s always fun. Sterling is, as much as I’m concerned, is as part of the Leverage universe as the team in some ways. It’s always a pleasure to go back up there and go play with these guys.”

And there’s certainly plenty of play in this episode. Exhibit A: the exclusive clip below, which finds Sterling in a classic bicker-match with Eliot. READ FULL STORY »

First 'Glee' season three promo is here! -- VIDEO

Categories: Glee

Glee is back and, apparently, has the beat (and is getting pelted in dodgeball).

See Jane Lynch terrorizing the cast — including new full-timers Darren Criss and Harry Shum Jr. — in the Fox hit’s first season three promo below. (Hmm, if a cast member is hit, does it mean they’re off the show at the end of the season?)

'Castle': Cast gets old-timey in new promo photo!

I keep staring at this new promo photo for Castle and trying to think about what to say. But words truly escape me. It’s. Just. That. Good.

The colors. The styling. Nathan Fillion seemingly plucked straight out of my noir-themed dreams, in which he always co-stars (with me, duh). Oh, and look, Beckett’s (Stana Katic) alive…and fancy looking.

Also debuting in the new cast photo is Penny Johnson Jerald (third from right), who, as reported, joins the cast this season as Capt. Victoria Gates. (Spoilers on that here.)

There’s still too many days until Sept. 19, but hopefully these photos help curve the craving a bit. Check out two more (non-themed photos) below! READ FULL STORY »

Sarah Michelle Gellar dishes about going from 'Buffy' to 'Ringer' -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

One of the fall TV season’s buzziest storylines can be summed up in two words: Buffy’s Back. On Sept. 13, Sarah Michelle Gellar returns to series television with Ringer, a sexy, soapy neo-noir from the CW about deeply troubled twin sisters who couldn’t be more different… except for the fact that they are both being played by a woman who used to save the world. A lot. The next issue of Entertainment Weekly (on sale Friday) will tell you the story of how and why the star of such films as The Grudge and Cruel Intentions decided to take a break from movies and make Ringer her follow-up to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but, until then, check out the video below, in which Freddie Prinze Jr.’s better half took a few moments to chat about the intricately twisted premise of her new show, which also stars Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic Four), Nestor Carbonell (Lost), and Kristoffer Polaha (North Shore). “It’s me and myself sharing all these good-looking guys,” says Gellar. “It’s a pretty good job if you can get it.” Clip after the jump! 'Raising Hope': Baby Hope goes bananas in the new promo -- VIDEO

Get it? Bananas? She’s dressed as a monkey, people!! (Yes, I get paid for this)

There’s so much to love about this brand-spakin’ new promo for the second season of my favorite new comedy of last year. From Hope’s little monkey outfit, to the cardboard buildings (I want to make those), to her little almost-talking noises. It’s too much cute to handle! Check out the promo below. Ben Flajnik tapped as next 'Bachelor'

Bachelor-Ben-F

Our sources are confirming a tabloid report that says ABC’s plan is to have Ben Flajnik as the next Bachelor.

The 28-year-old California winemaker was dissed by Bachelorette Ashley Hebert this summer, and it seems things didn’t work out between him and Jennifer Love Hewitt on their apparent recent date (“Rumors are rumors … we did meet, but totally by coincidence,” she insisted to Ryan Seacrest.) But Flajnik will have the ladies lining up in January if all goes according to the network’s current intentions. (Flajnik isn’t officially announced yet.)

Flajnik was angry when Hebert dumped him, which rallied more Bachelorette fans to his side. And the man certainly looks the part, right?

'Vampire Diaries' DVD sneak peek: Candice Accola sorts out Caroline's connections -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

Sorting through the maze of relationships and connections on The Vampire Diaries is a task best left only to professionals. Enter Candice Accola.

In this truly cute clip from extras on The Vampire Diaries: The Complete Second Season DVD, Accola is seen explaining Caroline’s complicated connections to her fellow Mystic Falls cohorts. Something about the clip sort of makes me wish I had more teachers like her in high school. I bet she could make the periodic elements sounds like a piece of juicy gossip.

Check out the clip below and wow with me at the nifty graphics, which remind me a little of what the Vampire Diaries version of Guess Who? would look like. READ FULL STORY »

'Grey's Anatomy' scoop: Jackson's mom is... -- EXCLUSIVE

Debbie-Allen

Ready to meet Jackson Avery’s mom?

Actor-director Debbie Allen has been cast in the upcoming season of Grey’s Anatomy, playing Catherine Avery. The move brings Allen out from behind the camera on Grey’s, where she’s previously directed three episodes of the show (not entirely unlike how Eric Stolz directed an episode of Private Practice before appearing in Grey’s).

Allen has a slew of TV directing credits to her name (Everybody Hates Chris, That’s So Raven) and is best known as an actress for her work in the movie Fame (both versions). She’ll lend some insight into Jackson’s family in the fifth episode of the eighth season, which premieres on Sept. 22.
