Looks like pregnancy is proving tough — for daddy Booth!
In this new promo for the upcoming season of Bones (premiering Nov. 3), a visibly pregnant Brennan is maneuvering around at a crime scene while fending off Booth, who is trying to do the gentlemanly thing and carry a heavy piece of equipment for her. Of course, this is Brennan, and she’s not having any of that, citing the centuries of women who have done hard labor while pregnant.
I miss this precious banter more than Marshmallow Rice Krispies cereal, fellow Bones fans. Take a look at the promo below and tell me if you agree!

I didn’t really follow the last season of Bones, it kind of dragged, but I’m really excited for pregnant Bones! I hope it’s more like the early years where the banter between Booth and Bones was more playful and less loaded.

Really! Booth character is so dumb I can’t believe this show is still on the air. He does not inspire confidence in our federal law enforcement officers or in their education. Those comments about the birthing process over the centuries have been used repeatedly. I had to quit watching this show last season because the writing was so inane and redundant. Here’s hoping the writing is better for the rest of the season than that film clip.
If you use a ficitional character as a guide to determine your confidence in real people in the law enforcement arena, that makes you the dumb one.

because they decided way late in the game to go with the pregnancy instead of hiding it.
It’s because of baseball playoffs and The X Factor. Well documented interviews explicitly say it does not have to do with the pregnancy.
