Tonight on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry David & co. embark on their final(e) adventure in the Big Apple. What kind of madcap misfortune awaits your favorite social assassin? Jeff Garlin (a.k.a. Larry’s manager Jeff Greene) kindly supplied EW with not one but five reasons (SPOILER ALERT!) to watch the conclusion of the HBO comedy’s eighth season, “Larry vs. Michael J. Fox.” (According to HBO’s website, “Larry has some doubts about Michael J. Fox’s condition.” Gulp.)

1. “This could be the last original episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Ever. I’m not kidding.”

2. “If you’ve ever wanted to see Larry David clash with Michael J. Fox, this is your chance. One of them shakes a lot — and it’s not Michael J. Fox.”

3. “A pillow sham is an instrument of destruction.”

4. “Lounge music is not given its proper respect.”

5. “This is the one episode where my balls don’t have fun.”

Consider your curiosity piqued, people! Given this intel, what are your predictions for the finale? And how would you feel if Larry ultimately decided not to make any more episodes of Curb?

I say end the show on a high note and make this the final season. David has done well and should just enjoy the fruits of it all. No need for a 9th season.

    • lisa

      I agree jed

        You two are LAME.

Curb is still funny as hell. There is no reason at all not to make another season.

There aren’t even 100 total episodes yet.

i agree too. am i the only one that has been vastly underwhelmed by this season? not that i haven’t enjoyed having new eps, but have i lol-ed like i used to? eeh. not so much.

      • rose

Have to agree, i cringed at some things, just not too too funny. but i loved the little kid tonight, he was brilliant

Please come back Larry!!! Curb is by far the funniest comedy not just presently, but perhaps ever!! Your the only reason I have HBO anymore….one more season!! I do miss Cheryl though….

  • FreeAgent

If Larry David does not bring back Curb…I will officially become as bitter as the Larry David I see each week on HBO. More, more, more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • joline

    Make a Curb movie!

  • Dave

Every season of Curb so far could have potentially been the final season. That’s why there have been about 2 years in between seasons the past several years. So I’m not really sure what to make of that remark. I thought Larry was going to end it 2 years ago after the Seinfeld reunion.
    Looking forward to tonight’s episode.

I loved Season 7 mostly for nostalgia’s sake with the reunion of SEINFELD, but this season has been the best ever. They CAN’T go out on a high-note! Make 9 seasons, just like SEINFELD did… but with a better ending.

It’ll be hard to top last week’s episode that’s for sure.

      i concur classic episode

I’d love to see Cheryl in the finale. This was a good season but Larry works best against her.

    • KevinP

I actually think this season was the best in part because Cheryl wasn’t in it, save for episode 1. Her schtick was always “why did you do that Larry” and “what were you thinking Larry”. That got old 3-4 seasons ago. Don’t get me wrong, Cheryl looked great in that lone episode, but taking that repetitive dynamic out helped the show. Plus at least 3 classic episodes (Palestinian Chicken, Buckner and “Are you juicin’ Larry”) made it the best since the restaurant season.

      • Sina

The “are you juicin” episode was the best this season. When Leon (the best!!) was telling Larry that the gloves catches the balls, I’m still laughing from that. And then the Buckner episode when Larry had told Leon about Black men and wearing glasses then the doctor who was telling his clients business. Larry has been on a roll since coming to NY.

I gotta wait til the DVD (don’t have HBO), but if this is Larry David at his finest, I’m sure it’ll be pretty, pretty, pretttttyyyy good.

    • Andy

You don’t have to wait for the DVD if you don’t have HBO. Google is your friend.

WHEN CAN I SEE CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM ON
        REGULAR TV.

Considering how much I HATED this show when it first came on,I still am amazed I ended up changing my mind , and now think the restaurant opening in the finale of Season 3 is the funniest thing I have EVER watched on TV. I would be sad to see this end. If it does end now, it’s been amazing, if it gets another season all the better.

  • scorpio9094

This is the only comedy that I can actually say I look forward to. Hope it comes back for at least a couple more seasons.

  • sam

This show was hilarious. It fascinates me how Larry can take the most inappropriate subjects and make them so funny. I spend the entire show thinking how I really shouldn’t be laughing at this but just can’t help it. Genius.

  • Vago

There’s no reason not to bring this back for…forever. At a 10 ep/season clip it’s a win/win all the way around.

  • jmag

this better not be the last episode..i think i will die..I jus finished watching the old episodes …easily the funniest show ever..not even joking…i really think i would go withdrawls…i feel like they need to do like a last season?
    PLEASE LD

Wow, the young actor who played Greg was great, or should I say, FABULOUS! I simply could not stop laughing. When Larry asked him what he liked about Project Runway, the way he replied with “Fashion!” had me in stitches!

    • Sina

And when he got the sowing machine and went crazy had me rolling. I loved how he kept kissing it. That little boy was perfection!

    • Imstilltoni

When that kid came out swishing, I lost it! There is no way that kid is gay as in happy, wayyyyy to fabulous for that & his kissing the sewing machine had me practically peeing myself!!
