Rebecca Romijn proved she can kick major butt in the X-Men films and now, she’s bringing her lethal moves to Chuck‘s final season.

EW has learned exclusively that the actress will appear in the sixth episode of the upcoming season (which starts Oct. 21) as Robyn Cunnings, an elite Special Agent with the CIA who’s as cold and calculating as she is sexy, and is known for her barbaric (yet highly effective) interrogation techniques.

As expected, her appearance brings nothing but bad news for Chuck and Co. Her character is said to be a member of a rogue group within the CIA that is planning to frame Chuck for the crime of the century.

Romijn, who is currently appearing on the Adult Swim comedy series NTSF:SD:SUV, last graced network TV on ABC’s Eastwick and Ugly Betty.

They could say that Chuck was eyeing a pile of rocks to play a part on this show and I would still be excited about it. I love Chuck!

    Final season? OH NO!!!

    • Aiden

Yep :( And it’s moved to Fridays at 8 now. Don’t miss it!

Chuck never disappoints with their guest stars. They get the best ones (Mark Hamill! Carrie-Anne Moss!) and utilize them so well (Timothy Dalton as the coolest villain, anyone). The last season is shaping up SO WELL.

    Oh dear…..she’s a horrible actress.

I’m gonna have to disagree with you on this one, she’s actually a pretty decent actress. Although she didn’t have too many lines in the X-Men movies, she was able to convey Mystique’s pain and anger at a society that didn’t except her. She was also a formidable player in Ugly Betty when they added her to the cast. I don’t think this is a bad move at all I’m excited to see how she helps shape the final season!

Mr. T. March 30, 2011 I have some soitres about Match. One woman winked at me, I wrote back, we went back and forth a few times, and she had a change of heart. I can accept that. Here’s where I saw the writing on the wall: Between me writing to her and her writing me back, there were times where she did NOT write, but was online now. She shouldn’t put all of her eggs into one basket of course, but that was very telling, and when she broke it off, it wasn’t shocking to me.Also, in a way, if I send a woman a wink or e-mail and she does the iggy as I prefer, I kind of wish she would block me from viewing her profile, because I send so many, I know that one of these days, I’m going to wink or e-mail a woman TWICE, and that’s going to freak her out.

She is part of ANOTHER rogue CIA group? Really? They couldn’t come up with something more original than a third rogue group for a villain?

    • Katie

I think this is where we come to find out about the conspiracy that was mentioned at the end of the season finale, so it’s entirely plausible that it would be connected to the other rogue groups within the agencies (Fulcrum and The Ring).

Well, I can’t wait for the Season premiere of CHUCK! I’m certain that I will enjoy the episodes, just as I have for each and every episodes since it first began in 2007 on NBC.
