InsideTV Podcast: Rachel and Brendon talk 'Big Brother' and their big wedding. (Jordan a bridesmaid?) Plus: Our Emmy picks!

Something finally came between Rachel and her man — a big check! The recently crowned Big Brother champion called into the latest edition of the InsideTV Podcast to chat with Jessica Shaw and yours truly about her victory, and you’ll never guess who was with her? Of course you will. It’s Brendon! Big Brother‘s most controversial duo talk all about Rachel’s big win, whether she would have brought Jordan to the final 2 if put in that position, and how they feel about Adam claiming he would have won if he had made the finals. Also, now that Rachel is half a million dollars richer, how does that impact their big wedding plans? (Hint: They just got bigger!)

After all that, Ken Tucker stops by to talk about something in which you will never hear the words Big Brother mentioned — The Emmys. Ken helps us break down all the major categories and who should and will win in each. Will it be Mad Men or The Good Wife for best drama? Will Jon Hamm finally win best actor now that his fellow AMCer Bryan Crantson is not eligible? And does Friday Night Lights stand a shot at all? Ken also shares his biggest snubs as well as the fall TV shows to keep an eye on. Ken Tucker is all over the damn place, people! (You can skip straight to the 18:30 mark if you want to avoid all the Big Brother talk and go straight to the Emmys chatter.)

    Her laugh makes me vomit.

Definitely not going to LISTEN to an interview with Rachel. Come on EW, quit being lazy and type the transcript.

    • Tom Brazelton

      THIS.

      • AB

c’mon, Tom, quit being lazy and type a real comment instead of the poser comment “this”

    WHO CARES

  • Swtndl81

Thank you for posting where the Emmy talk starts. Don’t want to hear Rachel’s cackle.

    • Brenda Anderson

      Your rude.

  • Jamie

Really, Brendan and Rachel? You can’t believe Danielle didn’t vote for the better competitor at the end? This coming from the 2 who voted for Lane over Hayden in their original season. I wish these 2 would stopacting so condescending. Stop acting like you would have voted for Danielle in the end. You proved last year that you don’t vote for the better competitor. That being said, Rachel was a (by default) deserving winner.

    • itsme

Well but Danielle was the one who was constantly saying how much she loved the game and would vote for the best game player. She also forgot that she was just as nasty if not more with her 2 soldiers so lets not talk about personality contests Danielle. BB started and many disliked Rachel and liked D. Now it is exactly the opposite. In 10 years she will be saying her move was great. lol.

      • Jamie

Everything you say is fair. I wasn’t saying Danielle is better, I was saying they’re equals, but that Rachel thinks she’s better. That’s what annoys me. She criticizes everything Danielle does, when Rachel does the exact same thing. The only difference is that Danielle realizes its a game move when someone tries to evict her, while Rachel thinks its a personal attack, but Rachel is the one with the personal atacks. Rachel and Danielle are both hypocrites, but I get the sense that Danielle is actually aware of it, while Rachel thinks she’s a shining example of mankind. But honestly, everything in your comment is fair, though I don’t thin kyou can predict how people will feel about these 2. Honestly, Dani isn’t hated right now, odds are her, Jordan, jeff made the top 3 of America’s Choice. My guess is in 10 years, when Rachel is no longer aiding Jeff/Jordan people will realize that’s the only reason they ‘liked’ Rachel. They ‘liked’ her becasue they like Jeff and Jordan and liked that Rachel was helping them.

    • chula tiz

I think Rachel has evolved as a player and I do believe she would have voted for Dani.

  • Nita

Porsche gave the million dollars to Rachel. No way would I have kept Rachel over Jordan. Jordan is not a physical player, she wouldn’t have lasted in the butter or the 2 second challenge. No I don’t think Adam would have bet Porsche. I would kick Shelley’s butt–she just went back and forth.

  • gato

    GO RACHEL!!! GREAT JOB!!

  • Hilary

Glad Rachel won, never thought I would have written that!! Jordan helped her a TON on the social side.

  • joan michel

go rachel so proud of you you deserved it more than anyone you and brendan have so much to look forward to
i am 57 and been marrried 40 years i see you and brendan the same way good luck on your adventures

  • LITTLE RED

SO HAPPY RACHEL WON INSTEAD OF FOOD TAINTER PORSCHE! WANTED JEFF AND JORDAN IN THE FINAL BUT WILL SETTLE FOR RACHEL.SHE DESERVED TO BE IN THE END … SHE FOUGHT HARD ALL SUMMER.WONDER IF SHE WOULD HAVE TAKEN PORSCHE TO THE END IF SHE KNEW WHAT SHE DID TO THE FOOD TO MAKE THEM SICK.

    • AB

stop exaggerating, she didn’t poison anyone and no one got sick

      • LITTLE RED

Perhaps you should ask Jordan. She did get sick after drinking the muscle milk that porsche tainted.

  • Yes, Rachel’s laugh is annoying

but she deserved the wins hands down 4 HOH wins plus the final HOH competition. Was on the block 5 times yet persevered. All the haters, get over it. Good triumphed over evil. Enough said.

  • Peter

She triumphed in a few backyard memory or endurance games. She was still an obnoxious person who threw temper tantrums in the bushes when she didn’t get her way (like my nieces do – they’re both under six years old). It was great when she got stuck in a room with Jessie while the others got the shopping spree she thought was hers.

    • Susan

Yes, she was locked in a room with Jessie and could have been happier for Adam to meet Torrie. She was also very gracious to the other houseguests when she came down from the HOH room. As for the bushes, she was upset and didn’t want everyonme to see her.

  • Devil’s Advocate

Compare Jordan’s game from Big Brother 12 (in which she won) and Porche’s game from this season (in which she was labelled as ‘undeserving’). Name a differnce other than Porche’s alliance didn’t get a Coup D’etat.

    • abeeotch

      Ohhh, nicely said.

  • A

If Jordan and Jeff hadn’t been in an alliance with Rachel, they wouldn’t have voted for her. I wonder if one of them was in the final two and Porshe said, just because we never talked game (cuz clearly they didn’t talk game with her either) that they don’t deserve the money.
Adam was delusional. Jeff goes on very hateful tirades.
My opinion of Dani hasn’t changed one bit. I liked her before, like her now. I like the Rachel after Brenden was evicted but the girl still seriously has many issues.

  • Jolie

Rachel deserved nothing. She’s a complete loser, a whiny crybaby, a sore loser and a bad “winner.” Easily the meanest, most disgusting, trashy contestant EVER. The only people more disgusting than B and R are J and J — a matched set of four total looooooosers.

    • katm

I think your talking about Danielle not Rachel, sorry your confused.

    • cj

‘MY MY are’nt we JEALOUS !!!!!! and VERY CONFUSED also. The better person “WON” SO get over it. You really need to get a life and the facts straight!!!!!!!!
