Actually for me Gale Harold its 70% of the reason I am watching, especially after so many changes to the book.
After watching the first epsiode Gale Harold is 100% of the reason I am watching. Love him so much!

Well, there’s a pornstar called Damien Cross who looks exactly like Thomas. You should check it out and make true your fantasy… XD AND I don’t really get the Gale Harold love. I hated his scenes on Hellcats and now he just annoys me, he’s freaking weird and ugly too.

It IS nice finally to see Gale and Natasha in the group picture, but I totally agree: they need to get solo shots too. The CW eventually added them to those “What is your power” solo posters, but there was a lag. Why is there a lag now? Surely they must realize that these two (especially Gale) are already popular on the show.
This show is not worthy of Gale Harold. I hope it gets better. The least they could do is give him his own solo picture… a bribewhile they try to be worthy of his talent and beauty.

Pilot was very promising – lots of questions raised, and best of all, they made me care about the answers! Totally on board with the Gale/Natasha love, too – bring on the parental devilry!!

These promo photos are shockingly bad, so bad they might actually put me off watching this week’s episode. I’m seriously considering a protest (not that the network would really care of course).
Not only are the photos badly enhanced digitally, but it seems CW is reverting to that old Vampire Diaries/Gossip Girl staple of promoting images of overly-sexualised young girls and their ‘moody and ‘dangerous’-looking male counterparts. If it works, I guess…. ‘Cept that it sort of undermines everything that we’ve seen of these characters in the rather promising pilot, particularly with regards to Cassie and Diana.
Seriously, why did Britt Robertson and her female co-stars NEED to be so under-dressed in this photoshoot? I watched the pilot, there was no suggestion that these characters were anything like the oversexed teens we see on similarly-aimed shows, so why contrive to portray them that way?
I’m not a prude, not by any means, but come on – could Shelley, Phoebe and Jessica’s skirts be any shorter?

Where are the “young girls”? These women are all mostly in their 20s.
That may well be Aaron, but they’re playing characters still in their teens, on a show and network which is primarily aimed at a young demographic. Besides which, as Ginny mentions, the portraits are entirely inconsistent in tone and style with what we’ve seen from the pilot (with the exception of Faye’s character I suppose).
As I said, I don’t mean to come off as a prude… it’s just frustrating that networks and producers consistently feel they have to sex up their female cast to make the show more appealing to viewers.. I would have happily watched the next episode without overly-styled promos.
Agreed. And that first picture is not not the Cassie we have seen in the first episode! Who dresses like that in real life?! Especially in a small fisherman town…

Well, with the first pic I thought I was seeing a True Blood promo. They are COMPLETELY unrecognizable. O.O Specially Cassie who looks like Anna Paquin, the rest meh.. just… no.
The solo shots, are even worse. The only one that more or less looks like herself (the character) is Faye.
