For those of you dreaming of appearing on Glee someday, you have another chance: Oxygen has officially announced audition cities for the next season of The Glee Project (A rep for Oxygen says that this is not an official pick-up for season two but simply the beginning stages of casting). Try outs will begin this November with a multi-city casing call, including New York, Nashville, and Chicago. You must be at least 18 years old and be willing to film from approximately January to April 2012. Hopefuls should go The Glee Project‘s official site for details on how to upload videos and other information. Contestants will be able to choose from several audition songs like “The Edge of Glory” by Lady Gaga and “Unchained Melody” by the Righteous Brothers.

Glee isn’t going anywhere. Remember — TV is a for profit business and Glee rakes it in for the network in more ways then just the TV show. Fox isn’t going to give that up anytime soon.

the music makes enough for them, the show’s ratings might not even be that important anymore if the records and movies make big cash. i doubt any of the actors get paid THAT much.
Any word of audition cities on the West Coast yet? There’s no way I could make it to Chicago, Nashville or NY and for some reason I suddenly want to audition…
