Matthew Morrison is quickly becoming a renaissance man. The Glee star has already spent the summer touring for his self-titled album and shooting a movie (What to Expect When You’re Expecting opposite Cameron Diaz). Now Morrison is adding directing to his resume. Over the weekend, during an acoustic set and Q&A at LA’s Grammy Museum for their Spotlight series, Morrison announced to the audience that he would be directing Glee‘s eighth episode this season. The storyline of the episode is unknown, but look for Morrison’s episode to air in November.

Great news…looking forward to see that episode…
Please bring back Jessalyn Gilsig!!!!!!!
Who gives a sh!T???
That is awesome, Mr. Morrison is a very talented man.
I can’t wait to see the episode. Is it official that it will be broadcast during November sweeps?
That is great news! Usually when actors direct shows that they are in, they arent given much screentime in that episode. The less Mr.Shue the better!
Wrong, Mr. Schuester’s scenes with Coach Sylvester are very funny, he’s always trying to help his students and even sacrificed his own dreams for them, and his scenes with Emma are some of the most romantic on tv. Music teachers deserve respect.
You’re joking right? He in no way sacrificed his own dreams for them. When they were in New York for NATIONALS he ran off to go sing on a stage by himself while they were writing there own songs. He doesn’t TEACH them anything. A good teacher would at least have a set list prepared before they left their home town so that the students would actually know what they were doing on stage the next day!
This guy is the creepiest thing on tv, I am afraid when Glee gets cancelled Ryan Murphy will put him on American Horror Story.
Cool story bro!
CAN’T. WAIT.
he’s proven himself quite a talented man in front of the camera, looking forward to seeing if he’s got chops for directing.
