'Sister Wives': The Brown family deals with a miscarriage scare -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

During last week’s season three premiere of Sister Wives, Kody Brown and wife No. 4, Robyn, revealed that she was pregnant with their first child together. (Robyn has three children from a previous marriage.) But during Sunday’s two new back-to-back episodes, Robyn realizes she’s spotting, and fears of pregnancy complications set in. In this exclusive clip, Kody and Robyn meet with their midwife to see what’s wrong, and the midwife is unable to find the baby’s heartbeat. “There’s kind of a threat of miscarriage,” says Kody. “And it’s got us both a little spooked… Now we’re just trying to figure out what’s going on, and we’re dealing with a very, very heavy unknown.”

Two new episodes “Teen Sex Talk” and “4 Houses, 4 Relationships” air this Sunday on TLC at 9 p.m.

Leah for President. Seriously, WTF, EW?

  • Kathy

Well, if you felt that way about it, you didn’t have to click on the story did you???? I for one am interested in this family and glad that EW is too!!

I’m also very interested in this family. Their dynamic is really interesting, somedays I watch this show and it seems the wives are closer with each other than they are with their husband. I hope everything is ok! Robin is probably under a lot of stress coming into a family that has pretty much been established for the past 20 years.

All the promos show her visibly pregnant. The interviews where they refer to the coming baby in present tense are filmed later so obviously the baby is OK.

The wives are the epitome of frenemies.

  • ewww..

who is uglier the husband who looks mutant john boy walton or the wives who look their parents were cousins.

I am also interested in this show. Its jus so crazy how they all make everything work and live so happilly even with everything going on. And I think if people don’t like the show then don’t watch it its that simple. But people love to critize other people they know nothin about. I don’t believe in that way of living, but it gives you an insight to other peoples lives of that belief.

Just watched all the episodes, I know I’m behind, but I loved the show. I find it fascinating how everyone can mange their time together and work out each relationship. I really would love to know how each person actually feels, because I have to imagine that there will always be some sort of wondering what your husband is doing with the other wives. I don’t know, I guess it really doesn’t matter, but I think it’s just part of being human. I really enjoy the show. It really helped to understand your lifestyle is really not that complicated.
