After steadily increasing viewership, Fox News Channel’s summertime series The Five has been given a permanent time slot. The roundtable program, which was introduced in June as a replacement for Glenn Beck, will keep its 5 p.m. time slot and will continue with a rotating panel of personalities, including Dana Perino, Bob Beckel, Eric Bolling, Juan Williams, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Greg Gutfeld, and Andrea Tantaros. “The Five is unlike any show in news and politics, from the co-hosts’ chemistry to the provocative, yet fun presentation style,” said Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes. “It has quickly connected with the audience, and I’m pleased to install it in our daily lineup.”

I see that the word “entertainment” in the title Entertainment Weekly is define very, very, loosely.
No sh#t. Truer words were never typed. They should call it “Watch 4 Conservatives make the Lone Liberal Their Pinata.”
The liberals ain’t making it very hard for them, you gots to admit that.
Well I certainly wouldn’t call a show devoted entirely to partisan rhetoric and extolling the virtues of far-right conservatism “news” so “entertainment” fits the bill I think.
Bob Beckel, the guy who leads the discussion, is a very liberal commentator and managed Democratic candidates going back to Robert Kennedy. He became famous in 2007 for his anti-George W. Bush bumper stickers. If you’ve ever actually seen the show you realize its certainly not conservative slanted. He’s not the only Democrat or liberal on the panel, in fact, the line up is usually 2 liberal, 2 conservative (at most) and 1 independent. The problem is someone like you who makes something up instead of checking the facts. Or maybe you’re just repeating something from someone who made it up. How but stop writing comments and start reading until you’ve actually learned something.
