Gordon Ramsay’s search for the best home cook in America will continue.
Fox has ordered a third season of Ramsay’s summer reality series Masterchef. The show has been one of the scant few new unscripted broadcast titles in recent years that have found enough of an audience to earn multiple seasons. Ramsay’s fellow judges Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot are also back on board.
Producers are casting a wider net looking for new contestants for season three, the production is going to 11 cities with more to come. The renewal of MasterChef firms up Ramsay’s empire on Fox, which includes upcoming new show Hotel Hell, where Ramsay gives makeovers to struggling motels, hotels and bed and breakfasts.
This is good news. I prefer Master Chef much more than Hell’s Kitchen or Kitchen Nightmares.

I will take Master Chef over Hell’s Kitchen for now on. Ever since they RIGGED the show to get Elise as far as she did I have lost all respect for the show.
this^ I didnt even see the finale because Elise was top 4 when her ass should of been canned way before that. How can someone with a terrible attitude be considered for a management job is beyond me

Actually if you watched the final, Elise was the best line cook there and probably the main reason Paul won over Will. I hated her too but had to give her some credit for how well she did in the finale.

So Fox will keep this piece of crap show, while not paying the most memorable and famous voice actors of all time on The Simpsons? That makes sense. Please kill all of this kitchen-oriented programming, Fox Broadcasting. It bores me and the rest of the USA to tears.
I’m sure MasterChef is MUCH cheaper to produce, as they don’t have cast to pay. And while it may bore YOU to tears, don’t presume to speak for all the TV viewers in the country.

I love this show and I like Hells Kitchen too. Its no where near the same as Hells Kitchen and its not suppose to be. We, didnt like Elise personality what everyone fails to mention is that Elise was a good cook and that was the point of the show. Its about cooking not a personality contest. So to say that Hells Kitchen is rigged because you didnt like someone who cooked is plain stupid. If you are a fan of cooking show then you would have over looked Elise and her personality.
It is a cooking show but…when better cooks are eliminated just to keep somebody that is abrasive for ratings is as you say…stupid.
Which cooks got eliminated that you think were better than Elise?

I love MasterChef and Kitchen Nightmares, but what Gordon really needs to bring over to the U.S. is the F Word…thats his best show, especially the current’s season set up.
