T.R. Knight makes his TV return next week on NBC’s Law & Order: SVU and EW has some first-look video. Here, the SVU team are tracking a serial rapist. Family man Gabriel (Knight) is their prime suspect. The guest casting is Knight’s first major TV series appearance since he left ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy two years ago. The episode airs next Wednesday at 10 p.m., check out the exclusive clip below:
another example of EW’s gay agenda, because T.R. Knight is an openly gay actor it gets a write up that he is guest starring as a suspect on a fading cop show?..why is that news?…there was no right up when Kyle Mclaughlin guested last week what is he not gay enough…double standards abound!
So sick of idiots who think there is such a thing as the “Gay Agenda.” Get a life, already.
ok “Agenda” might have been overstepping, but EW does have a long history of pouncing on any actor or storyline that has a gay slant to it, most recently Sean Maher from “The Playboy Club” coming out, now if it had been any other news happening from a show that was about to be cancelled, EW would not have covered, for instance there was no mention of straight star Eddie Cibrian injuring himself on the set two days later and being rushed to the hospital, why was that not covered here?..both Inside Edition and Access Hollywood covered it without even mentioning Maher’s coming out party!

Why did this deserve a write up(not ”right” up) you ask? Because T.R. has been absent from TV, unlike Kyle MacLachlan who has been very very present on several tv shows for the last few years. That comparison doesn’t really work or prove anything frankly. Honestly, I don’t even like T.R. I hated his character on GA and was glad to see George go(though I did think the situation the actor was put in leading up to his departure was unfair and wrong), but even as a non-fan I totally get why this is pretty darn noteworthy and therefore write up worthy on EW.

Maybe it’s news because, as it is clearly stated in the write up,: “The guest casting is Knight’s first major TV series appearance since he left ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy two years ago. ” There may be fans out there who want to see him on television again. I’m one of those fans. I’m not going to watch that show because it’s horrible, but it’s a still pretty interesting bit of information.

ok you want a list, Gay character on the “90210″ remake, (otherwise the show is never mentioned), gay character on “Days of our Lives” (ditto), Chrs Colfer always mentioned more then any other “Glee” cast member except for Jane Lynch (Gay) and Darren Criss (plays gay), Sean Hayes getting a sitcom deal (no real mention of his straight costars Debra Messing or Eric McCormack getting deals). Same with Portia Di Rossi, Neil Patrick Harris getting the cover of EW when his Straight co-star Jason Segal is the one breaking out in movies, Elton John Biopic…the list goes on and on!
Here’s another list for you, Bradley boy. – Harry Shearer, Kirsten Dunst, Alex Skarsgard, Julia Roberts, Zooey Deschanel, Billy Baldwin, Ryan Gosling, Sean Young, David Letterman, Lisa Kudrow, Mira Survino, Hugh Jackman, Billy Bob Thornton, Beyonce, Faith Hill, and Natalie Portman – all STRAIGHT stars that just HAPPEN to be on the main EW.com page!! Yes they happen to be on the main page today, I never said that gay people are featured in every article on everyday of the week, my point is that if you are gay or have a gay storyline in your tv show, you are more apt to get noticed by EW..and you never answered my why Sean Hayes was given a “Write” up but his straight costars were not!…and to Badger31201 if no one watches “90210″ why mention it at all, gay or straight!

One more glaring example of EW’s gay bias would be last year when Chord Overstreet joined the cast of “Glee” there was stoy after story about him, praising his looks and talent, because there was speculation that he was going to be Kurt’s Boyfriend, but it turned out that he was actually playing a straight character, and that it was going to be Darren Criss playing the B/F of Kurt, EW seemed to turn on Chord, and heaped all the praise on Criss, who is not as talented as Chord was!

They’re writing it up because it’s his first major tv appearance since leaving Grey’s. I miss him there, but I didn’t find that clip very good. I won’t bother watching. I don’t think this will draw in the GA crowds…we loved George…not T.R. Knight.

NO, This is T.R. Knight’s first television role since he left Grey’s Anatomy in 2009, when his character was killed off.
TR returned to the stage.He didn’t stop acting . He did a stage musical in Los Angeles (Parade )and a Broadway play with Patrick Stewart and he did a sort play also in June wich called (Sold) opposite (Law & Order’s) Kathryn Erbe. He was nominated for an Ovation Awards for his performance as Lead Actor in the play Parade.
