Syfy’s Haven is getting a third season.
The series very loosely based on the Stephen King novella The Colorado Kid will be back in 2012 for another 13 episodes. The show, following investigations of supernatural events in a Maine town, averaged about 2.5 million viewers once DVR playback was added in.
The move follows Syfy renewing new drama Alphas, along with giving another season to Warehouse 13 and axing Eureka (aside from the upcoming final season). Yesterday, Syfy announced a premiere date for the second season of another scripted newcomer, Being Human — Jan. 16.
Good. I was afraid it was going to be canceled.
Love this show! So glad Syfy isn’t pulling the plug on yet another beloved series. R.I.P. SGU & Eureka (after next season)
YAY!!! I love this show!! I was kind of hoping for a Duke/Audrey romance but I guess they have to work through the whole Nathan/Audrey thing first.

my name is actually Audrey, so when we watch the show.. i always answer like they are talking to me. it cracks my daughters up everytime.
and… we really enjoy this show.. and no audrey/duke… i was actually getting tired of duke this past season.

Yes! So glad Haven and Warehouse 13 are renewed. I’m still not sure about Alphas, but I’ll see how the next season goes before I decide.
I’m really enjoying it… and I didn’t expect to. It’s turned out to be much more than the HEROES rip-off it looked like at first glance.

Yippee! I absolutely love Haven! I don’t usually care for science fiction and certainly not horror movies. I’m SO pleased with the way Haven has been written. Great job SyFy!!!
