'Revenge,' 'Suburgatory' get full season pickup

Revenge-Stowe

No need for vengeance, Revenge fans, the ABC drama just received a full season order.

As we predicted after Wednesday night’s ratings reversal, ABC has ordered nine more episodes of the show, giving the drama the full 22-hour boat. Last night the show averaged 7.9 million viewers and a 2.7 rating in the adult demo, just barely edging out CSI to win the 10 p.m. hour. The show has been fighting with the CBS veteran every week since it premiered. But whether in first place or second in the hour, ABC is happy with any show that stays out of third — finding new 10 p.m. dramas has been tricky for the network the past few years. Plus, Revenge gives ABC another on-brand soap to join its ranks along with Desperate Housewives (which is on its final season) and Grey’s Anatomy.

ABC has also added a full season order to the new comedy Suburgatory, which stars Jeremy Sisto as a father raising his teenage daughter after moving out to the suburbs. And six more scripts of Happy Endings got the green light as well.

Yay for Suburgatory and Happy Endings!!!

Now bring back my Cul-de-Sac Crew already!!!!

    • Asha

I can’t even be happy about Suburgatory because I know my cul de sac crew should be on it that slot. Where does Cougar Town fit into the ABC schedule?! If the show gets cancelled without every coming back on the air I will seriously quit all of the ABC shows I watch, which is a lot.

      • chris

They had been saying November….I hope that’s true!

      • Asha

Kate, it’s been pushed to January at least. There is no definite date or time slot so it’s looking pretty iffy at this point. Which sucks.

  • What Up

Bring back “Off the Map”, good show, wasn’t given a chance. I like Happy Endings and glad that’s been given more, sometimes I think better than Friends.

    • Kana

You know I recently watched Off the Map on DVD and it was actually pretty good. I am sorry I didn’t watch it when it was on the air now.

    • Mel

I loved me some Off the Map too! They cancelled it way too soon.

  • Michael

Great that I get to watch more Suburgatory and those three suburban blondes particularly ‘Kimantha’!!!

When the internal truth about AMERICAN ECONOMY had rniemaed suppressed in the past under the governing charisma of the country with certain vital decisions egoistically based at the top for the nation as power of its projection to the outside world and things were pretty red at Obama’s take over then of Presidency, he was left with no option but to project himself into it for a bail out for America by looking globally to simultaneously fight recessions and also evolve strategies to somewhat stabilize the internal roots of the country on economy that had the cover of good time of the past allowed to remain in the positive by and large under the negative of governance meaning not timely because that has been the continuing tradition of the past Presidents of America. His slogan for change therefore, definitely is presenting itself as a pinch for the old heads on it politically on health care and other core related matters on Power that America at this stage can not afford to overlook meaning where unnecessary expenditure stands as a necessary evil for governance to absorb and where, perhaps reformed health care package has come to be seen as negative on the plea of taxation. A bit of sacrifice is always required initially to put the rails back on track because what the change initially brings about does not remain change, it gets acclimatized at the level of psyche and soon thereafter, concessions on it; (once the basic step has been achieved on all important fronts) start making people happy why? That is because the basic idea of change comes in only when one phase of transition comes to an end for the new to begin like today the world watched the total solar eclipse because it was alive as life to watch that celestial phenomena from various angles of probes on it. Likewise if Obama is under probe, it is but natural because he has come in with the trump card of change that many do not seem to be relishing. There is a famous English saying “old habits die hard” and for people who are stuck with that inwardly, wisdom can only convey “respect the President, allow him to make mistakes and also allow him to correct on those to become a metal of its kind rarer than gold for life in this global changing trend of life”. For that America as country is required to see itself internally as well as globally.________________________________________________________________
