Charles Widmore and Ben Linus are about to meet again.

EW has learned exclusively that Lost alum Alan Dale will guest star on the Michael Emerson-helmed Person of Interest as a former member of the German Stasi secret police. He will appear in episode 8.

Dale, who will appear as Prince Charming’s father on the upcoming series Once Upon A Time, has also recently appeared on AMC’s The Killing and reprised his role as John Ellis on the final season of Entourage.

    YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!

    • Kate

Is it just me or does he NOT look like Charles Widmore in that pic?

      • t3hdow

No, I thought that too. I had to read the article to figure out who he is, because man, I remember him looking far different.

  • DFT

    I want a Person of Interest/Hawaii 5-0 Crossover Event.

    • J.

THIS! especially with Alex doing a guest spot on H50 later this season

      • brutony

        You mean ALAN?

      • Jay

No, I think he means “Alex”. Tanya Raymonde is doing a guest spot on Hawaii 5-Oh. Oh yeah “He doesn’t get to save his daughter”

    • Nell

      Indeed!!!

    • lisa g.

      LOL

  • Melissa in CA

Ooh! That’s going to be all kinds of awesome; I can’t wait!

saw Hawaii Five 0 the other week. Terry O’Quinn and the Five O gang were in the Jungle and found a trip wire to a bomb. Was that left over from Rousseau?

    • Ruby

LOL if they hear/see a weird clicking noise from black smoke, they’d better get running!

    • Zoe

I know! I had serious Lost flashbacks with that scene, between Terry O’Quinn, Daniel Dae Kim, and the jungle…especially when Locke (Joe) saw the surveillance camera in the tree and said “You think they’re watching us?” I said, “Yes–the Others are there!” Seriously, O’Loughlin even seemed like a stand-in for Sawyer during that scene. Love it!

amy October 28, 2011 I def recommend this book!!! When my grheomdtanr passed away I read this book a few months prior to her death. Also, I recommend 30 minutes in Heaven a true story told by a pastor who had the same experience as the 4 yr old boy they actually told the same experience.

  • Bette

    Sweet !

  • tracy bluth

    Yeahhhhh Charles Widmore!!!
His character has to be evil. And he has to have some awesome confrontation with Michael Emerson!!!!
On a side note, did anyone else think he was totally wasted on The Killing?

  • metoo

    I just want Lost back.

    • Matt

I think we’ve left the golden age of TV; Lost, B-Star, and 24 are gone, House and The Simpsons have not regained their once stellar quality, and canned-laughter sitcoms are rearing their heads once again. It is a bleak time.

      • Felix

Yeah…all we have are lousy, poor-quality shows like Mad Men, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Fringe, True Blood, The Walking Dead, 30 Rock, Breaking Bad, The Vampire Diaries, and Community. Pure trash, every one.

      • Amy

I hate canned laughter. I will not watch a sitcom that has it. It’s too bad cause I really liked Tim Allen’s new show but the laughter is too annoying so I won’t watch it

      • rlb237

Felix, True Blood is definitely not a show I’d put in the “quality” category. And I say that as someone who watches every season. It’s really not that great though.

      • Seth

        @Felix

Don’t forget about THE GOOD WIFE, JUSTIFIED, BOARDWALK EMPIRE and PARKS & RECREATION!

  • ML

Dale would have made a fantastic Tywin Lannister.

    • Jesse

Absolutely! Although Charles Dance has been terrific.

      • SH

        Yep, they’re both awesome

  • LIZ

This is the best new show on TV. Why are there no TV recaps for it?

  • xugreatone

This is the 2nd Lost reunion on that show…the guy who played Goodwin played MIchael Emerson’s business partner in a flashback when he was building the computer system….

    • SH

Forgot about that. He’s the statue/sculpture at the end of the episode. I bet he will appear in more flashbacks of Mr. Finch.

      • Kvivik

Yes, Brett Cullen will indeed be seen in more flashbacks. Cannot wait!!!! Love Brett Cullen.

  • redvector

I second that notion. The last scene at the end was riveting. Did he or didn’t he? Knowing that sexual predators can’t really control themselves, I’m leaning toward he did it.

    • Alicia

It was a great last scene, I agree. But it drove me nuts.

    • L Williams

I agree. I think he did it!

  • CG

I wanted Sawyer or Desmond to be on “Person of Intrest” not Widmore

    • dexx

Cause only one person can ever be on the show from lost lol. You can still potentially your wish at some point.

    • Kana

I want Juliet/Elizabeth Mitchell to guest star. Does anyone if she is working on a new project after V?

  • Eric

Loving the Lost love here, and watching out for former cast members! Can’t wait to see Sawyer in MI4, Kate in the Hobbit, Jack in World War Z !!!

    • Luke

Fox dropped out of world war z actually. I was none to pleased when I found out. I’m curious to see how his career goes from here. Side note, does anyone else think Mit Romney looks like season 6 jack sheherd? Look again.

  • João Paulo

    This is awesomeeeeeeee

  • Miranda

Kvivik, how do you know that Brett Cullen will be in more flashbacks? And do you know when? Looking forward to this.
