The return of Beavis and Butt-Head pulled a strong premiere rating Thursday night.
And, yes, I just wrote “pulled.” The animated comedy delivered 3.3 million viewers. Obviously that’s not nearly what Jersey Shore gets in this spot — nobody would expect Beavis to do anywhere near that level. But among the network’s 12-34 target demo, the rating was second only to Jersey Shore among the network’s lineup this year. New animated comedy Good Vibes didn’t perform so well, dropping to 1.6 million viewers.
Thar was pure classic B and B. So happy it’s back.
So much better than King of the HIll. I’m glad they went back to their roots and brought back the classic b and b.
We need someone to clown on today’s tv. Hope they rip into the Kardashians and Jersey Shore more.

Yeah was a strong return for the boy’s. Was good seeing stewart back in the mix too. The show afterwards was actually pretty funny too i was pretty surprised by it and even more upset that i think i might just have a reason to watch mtv again.
I used to watch MTV when they actually had some good shows on there back in the 90s/early 2000. Though, to this very day, I do not watch reality shows at all because they’re all garbage; hate them. But now shows on MTV are all crap! Except for Beavis and Butt-Head since I used to watch it. So, since they brought back Beavis and Butt-Head, why can’t they bring back the BEST MTV show ever made, in my opinion: Daria?! I love Daria! I want that show back so bad, I miss it so much! I still watch it on DVD, but I REALLY need new episodes! It’ll give me a reason to watch MTV again. Beavis and Butt-Head AND Daria on the same night sounds like a good plan to me!! How about it MTV?!

At least this revival will do better in quality and ratings than Celebrity Deathmatch.
Loved B&B then, and loved watching it with my 13 yr old now. Classic & love to have it back!
I was suprized that the show still felt fresh after all these years.
I enjoyed the episode of B & B mainly because I grew up on the show. I liked the new addition of making fun of MTV shows and not just music videos. It may be hard for the kids to grasp the concept, but those two segments that the boys were making fun of that were not about Jersey Shore and True Life are called “music videos”. The first time that B & B was on, that was all they had inbetween episodes. I know, weird right? Also, I hate to say it, but as a whole episode Good Vibes was actually the more entertaining show. I hope the ratings improve, because I see some potential.
