'Grimm': Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

What better way to head into Halloween weekend than with a hair-raising clip from NBC’s new supernatural procedural Grimm? In the show, homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) learns he’s descended from the Brothers Grimm and must use his spooky sense (the ability to see demons and other creepy crawlies’ true forms) as a way to solve crimes with eerie echoes of his forebears’ fairy tales. In what’s sure to be the first of many misadventures, how will Nick wiggle his way out of a face-to-face encounter with a real-life Big Bad Wolf? See for yourselves in our exclusive sneak peek after the jump!

NBC’s Grimm premieres tonight at 9 p.m. ET.

Fables called, would like its storyline back. :\

If any show ripped off Fables, it’s Once upon a time, definitely not this one whose concept (monster of the week investigation) is pretty classic.

This looks more like “Kolchak the night stalker”

Or you could just watch the whole episode which NBC has had available online for a week or two.

I loved it, and I don’t watch network TV. MUCH superior to that ABC version (whatever it’s title was). Won’t be watching THAT, WILL be watching THIS! Great blend with just a touch of humor, and not too over the top or sickly sweet. Good job, just hope it doesn’t go downhill from here.
