UPDATED: We skipped last week to focus on the fate of returning shows, but now we’re back to run down the odds of all the new series surviving past the holidays.

What has changed in the last two weeks? Once upon a time, two networks premiered two shows about fairy tales. One of the dramas premiered on Sunday, debuted to really big numbers and managed to keep all its new friends around for week 2. The other show bowed in a haunted swamp called Friday where it still managed to find some followers.

Here are the latest, season-to-date averages including DVR playback among adults 18-49 (the demographic of most concern to advertisers). Who will get a lump of coal for Christmas?

New Girl (Fox): 6.0, 12.2 million.
Status: Fox was the first network to pick up a new show for a full season, but New Girl went on a four-week hiatus during Fox’s baseball coverage and as a result, the series returned lower in the ratings Tuesday: It averaged 7.5 million viewers and delivered a 3.5 rating, down 19 percent from its last original on Oct. 4.

2 Broke Girls (CBS): 5.5 rating, 13.9 million.
Full season pickup

The X Factor (Fox): Wednesday, 4.8, 13.7 million; Thursday, 4.6, 13.4 million
Full season pickup

Once Upon a Time (ABC): 4.0, 12.4 million.
Status: The highest-rated new drama series premiere of the season and it magically held up in Week 2. A pickup seems highly likely.

Terra Nova (Fox): 3.9, 10.7 million
Status: It will not get a full season (Fox executives have confirmed that it will complete its 13-hour run in December); the question is whether the drama will get a second year for next fall.

Last Man Standing (ABC): 3.7, 12.7 million.
Status: Tim Allen’s first outing started strong, but the traditional sitcom has continued to drop and just posted a 2.6 on Tuesday — down 10 percent and is its lowest-rated telecast to date. Since ABC has already found success with its Wednesday night comedy block, the network now wants this show to help establish a second sitcom beachhead on Tuesdays. This may not be the way to do it, but a pickup still seems more likely than not.

Suburgatory (ABC): 3.6, 10.1 million
Full season pickup

Person of Interest (CBS): 3.3, 14 million
Full season pickup

Revenge (ABC): 3.3, 10.1 million
Full season pickup. Good news for prime time soap fans.

Unforgettable (CBS): 3.0, 13.9 million
Full season pickup

Pan Am (ABC): 2.8, 8.4 million
Status
: The period drama has been on a free fall and looks like a candidate for cancellation, though also has a lot of network support.
