'Dexter,' 'Glee,' 'Game of Thrones' land Producers Guild nominations

The Producers Guild of America announced today its 23rd annual PGA Awards nominees. Several fan favorite shows made the list (I was surprised Showtime’s Homeland didn’t make the cut, but then checked the rules — a show needs to have aired at least half its episodes by May 31, 2011 … which also means the amazing recent season of AMC’s Breaking Bad wasn’t in the running either). Here are the nominees:

The Award for Outstanding Producer of Non-Fiction Television:

The winners will be announced on January 21, 2012 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
