Person to Person, the CBS News interview show made famous by Edward R. Murrow in the early 1950s, is being revived for co-hosts Charlie Rose and Lara Logan. “We have dreamed about bringing a modern version of this great program, Person to Person, back to CBS for years — and now it is happening,” said 60 Minutes executive producer, Jeff Fager. “It is an exciting new development for us, particularly because it will be led by two of our most accomplished producers and two of our best interviewers.”
Just as Murrow brought viewers into the kitchens and living rooms of celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor and John F. Kennedy, Rose and Logan will interview famous people in informal, personal settings that encourage “unexpectedly vivid and touching revelations.”
Person to Person begins Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m.
