Forget New Hampshire — the political scene in Indiana just got a whole lot more interesting: Yes, Paul Rudd will be the one facing down Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) for that coveted city council seat in Pawnee. The film actor (Knocked Up, I Love You, Man) has signed on to guest star in multiple episodes of NBC’s Parks and Recreation as a candidate who’s a well-known figure in Pawnee, EW has confirmed. (Vulture first reported news of Rudd’s casting.) His first episode is slated to air January 19. The network declined to comment.
