The CW’s The Carrie Diaries pilot just filled its first role.
Stefania Owen (Running Wilde) has landed the part of Carrie Bradshaw’s 14-year-old sister Dorrit. She’s described as rebelling in the most obvious of ways: dying her hair, getting arrested, acting out. Dorrit is desperate for attention and willing to get it any way she can.
The Sex and the City prequel follows Bradshaw in high school during the 1980s. It’s one of eight drama projects in contention for next fall on the network (and certainly one of the most buzzed-about). The CW also just cast network veteran Katie Cassidy in its Green Arrow pilot.
