Starz renews 'Magic City' for second season

Magic City has yet to premiere, but Starz has already thrown its weight behind the series in a big way. The network announced today it has ordered a 10-episode second season of the show, which premieres April 6.

The drama, executive produced by Mitch Glazer (The Recruit), follows the story of 1959 Miami hotel owner Ike Evans (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who finds himself entangled with a tough mob boss (Danny Huston).

Season 2 is expected to air in 2013.
