The ladies of TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland — Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick, and Betty White — regularly work opposite great guest stars, from Regis Philbin to Joan Rivers. Well, you can add another notch to that post: EW has learned exclusively that SNL and Just Shoot Me alum David Spade will make his first appearance on the show, in an episode tentatively scheduled to air at the end of May.
Spade, of course, worked alongside Malick — who stars in the show as narcissistic ex-soap star Victoria Chase — for seven seasons on the NBC sitcom, Just Shoot Me. Cleveland regularly casts actors from the four lead’s old television shows, including Mary Tyler Moore‘s Mary Tyler Moore and Ed Asner, Frasier‘s John Mahoney, One Day at a Time‘s Bonnie Franklin, and Just Shoot Me‘s Laura San Giacomo.
Spade’s appearance should be especially funny: The comedian is set to play a rival hairstylist in the salon where Philbin’s character works. Hot in Cleveland airs new episodes on Wednesday at 10 p.m.
