EW has confirmed that Martha Stewart has signed on for a cooking show for PBS that will premiere this fall. Martha Stewart’s Cooking School, based on the domestic goddess’s book of the same name, will air weekly for 30 minutes. “PBS is the perfect home for this series,” said Stewart. “We’ll show viewers how to prepare classic dishes as well as how to use proper techniques. This new series combines so many of my passions: teaching and encouraging others.”
The news comes shortly before the end of Hallmark Channel chatter The Martha Stewart Show, which has run in various iterations since 2005. The show was formally canceled in January but will air through the end of the summer.
No further information about Martha Stewart’s Cooking School, including premiere date and day of air, has been announced at this time.
