Hope JoAnna Garcia likes working with monkeys. The actress has been cast in the female lead role in NBC’s Animal Practice (taking over a part from Amy Huberman, who appeared in the show’s pilot).
The comedy stars Justin Kirk as a veterinarian working for his former girlfriend (Garcia), who runs an animal hospital. Garcia was a regular on The CW’s Privileged and ABC’s Better With You, and had recent arcs on The CW’s Gossip Girl and USA’s Royal Pains.
