The season five premiere of True Blood lured 6.3 million viewers across its two plays Sunday, which HBO says was mostly in line with last year’s combined premiere number (though down 3%).
An average of 5.2 million viewers tuned into the premiere, down 4% in comparison to season four premiere but up 3% from the season 4 finale.
An additional 1.1 million viewers tuned in for the 11 p.m. replay.
