Here’s a new face coming to The CW’s Supernatural.
Actress Liane Balaban will play Sam Winchester’s (Jared Padalecki) new love interest Amelia.
This recurring role on the show’s eighth season is a doctor who’s described as a “damaged soul” — at least initially. She’s unable to rebound from a tragedy in her past, but we soon discover she’s brave, sweet and sarcastic. Balaban has had a handful of guest star roles on shows like Syfy’s Alphas and CBS’ NCIS: LA.
