America’s Got Talent delivered a Wednesday-topping rating for NBC, while the premiere of The CW’s new game show didn’t make much of an impression.
Got Talent (8.3 million viewers, 2.2 adults 18-49 rating) was the night’s highest-rated show. The rating is basically steady with the show’s pre-Olympics performance, so no bump from the Summer Games. Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance (4.7 million, 1.7) likewise was steady. CBS’ Big Brother (5.8 million, 2.1) was up 11 percent.
The CW’s new game show effort Oh Sit (1.3 million, 0.5) avoided landing in the network’s lowest ratings rungs, but didn’t pop much either. The show did manage to give the network a summer-high ratings (CW mostly runs repeats in the summer).
