Two new reality shows went two different directions in the ratings Monday night.

The second week of Fox’s Hotel Hell held up in the Nielsens, with Gordon Ramsay’s latest delivering 5.2 million viewers and a 2.0 in the adults 18-49 demographic. That’s up a tick from the show’s premiere.

But NBC’s military-themed celebrity competition series Stars Earn Stripes (3.5 million, 1.1) rappelled off a cliff without an original lead-in this week. This second episode was down 35 percent. The Stars performance then hurt 10 p.m.’s Grimm (4.9 million, 1.6), down 20 percent from last week’s return.

Also Monday: Hell’s Kitchen (6.2 million, 2.5) was down 7 percent. ABC’s Bachelor numbers are not yet accurate due to some NFL pre-season preemptions. Though 10 p.m.’s Glass House finale rating (2.8 million, 0.9) was dreadful whether there was some inflation from NFL or not.
