The celebrity speakers celebrating Ellen DeGeneres when she wins the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor later this month have been announced, and much like DeGeneres’ eclectic show biz credits, it’s a wide array of performers. The event will feature fellow talk show hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Steve Harvey, musicians like Jason Mraz and Kristin Chenoweth, actors including John Krasinski and Sean Hayes, and living comedy legend Lily Tomlin (who herself won the prize in 2003). The show will tape Oct. 22 at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. and highlights will air on PBS Oct. 30.

In addition to her Emmy-winning daily talk show, DeGeneres — the fourth woman to win the prize — is a successful stand-up comic. She began her career as a comedy club emcee in her native New Orleans. Soon after, she became the first female comedian stopping by Johnny Carson’s desk to chat, according to the AP. On her sitcom Ellen in the ’90s, she broke ground when both she and her character came out as lesbian. In addition to being an American Idol judge for one season, she’s also hosted both the Emmy Awards and the Academy Awards.
