EW has learned exclusively that T.R. Knight — best known for playing Dr. George O’Malley on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy — will guest-star on the CBS drama later this season. He will play a political operative.
Many Wife guest stars have come for one episode on Good Wife but ended up staying for more because their character became so popular. Such was the case with Martha Plimpton (who won an Emmy in September for recurring as attorney Patti Nyholm) and Michael J. Fox, who has earned two Emmy nods for depicting crafty attorney Louis Canning. It’s already been revealed that Fox will reprise his role later this season, and it’s likely that Plimpton will be invited back to the drama once she completes production this season on her Fox comedy Raising Hope. Fingers crossed that NBC won’t be so stingy with Matthew Perry and will allow him to reprise his role as Alicia adversary Mike Kresteva!
