ABC has recruited two new agents for Joss Whedon’s S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot.
Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker have both been cast in the project, joining Ming-Na, who was cast in a lead role last month.
Henstridge, who last year booked a role on the J.J. Abrams’ CW pilot Shelter, joins as Agent Gemma Simmons, while De Caestrecker will play Agent Leo Fitz.
The much-anticipated project, which centers on superspy operation established in the Marvel universe, received a pilot order from ABC back in August.
