Tuesday night’s rating make for one ugly Excel spreadsheet. With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, many shows matched their season-low numbers, or made all-new ones.
Fox’s Mindy Project? Season low in the adult demo, down 19 percent after last week’s uptick. ABC’s Happy Endings? Not so much. Don’t Trust the B? Down 18 percent — you don’t even want to look at its demo rating. NBC’s New Normal down 11 percent to a low and, sigh, Parenthood? I know, great season of Parenthood, but it tied its low.
It’s that time of year. This happens. What’s unusual is how soft some of these broadcast shows are.
Any good news? A little. CBS’ Vegas was up 13 percent to win 10 p.m. And its rival, ABC’s Private Practice, improved from last week’s low. Overall, NBC’s The Voice led the night, though slipped 15 percent.
