It was another great night for the CBS comedies and dramas: All four series were up in the key adult demo versus last week, starting with The Big Bang Theory — which not only averaged a mighty 16.7 million, but notched a 5.4 rating/17 share in 18-49, according to early numbers from Nielsen. It was the No. 1 show of the night in viewers and the key demo.

Two and A Half Men was also first in viewers (13.5 million) and adults 18-49 (up .2 percent to a 4.2/12).  Person of Interest averaged 14.2 million viewers and a 3.0/8 — up a slight .1 — while Elementary averaged 10.6 million and was up .2 in 18-49 (2.3/6). Overall, CBS easily took the night in the demo (3.4/10) and viewers (13.3 million).

ABC was second in the demo (2.3/6), though its numbers were boosted, in part, because of a football game in Philly. Otherwise, Last Resort earned a 1.2/3 and 5.4 million, Grey’s Anatomy, a 3.1/8 and 8.7 million, and Scandal, a 2.7/7 and 7.7 million. Fox came in a super close third for the night (2.2/6) with The X Factor earning a 2.4/7 and 7.6 million and Glee posting a 2.0/5 and 5.2 million.

NBC trailed in fourth with a special airing of Up All Night earning a series low .9/3 and 2.8 million, followed by another episode of it at 8:30 (1.1/3, 2.6 million). That Howie Mandel’s Take It All special at 9 got a 1.2/3 and 3.8 million, up 9% from Wednesday’s telecast, while Rock Center With Brian Williams earned a .9/2 and 3.4 million.

The CW had an original of The Vampire Diaries (1.2/4, 2.7 million), and Beauty and the Beast (.6/2, 1.6 million).
