Larry King hosted one one of the country’s first radio talk shows. Then he popularized the cable news interview show with Larry King Live on CNN. And now he’s taken on the Internet. Turning 80 this year, he may be a surprising choice for the title of pioneer, but in the first year of his show Larry King Now on Ora.tv, which launched last July and is backed by billionaire Carlos Slim, he’s still talking to everyone from Nick Cannon to Bill Maher.

“It’s different than life was at CNN,” King tells EW of the online-only network. “But I’m still asking questions.” King may be a web newcomer, but he’s taken on the role with gusto. He’s an active Tweeter, posting thoughts and comments frequently and reading responses, which his wife helps manage. “I love tweeting,” he says. “I think it’s a different world we’ve entered. When people were calling in, they were calling in to the show and now on Twitter I’m giving out thoughts, opinions. The whole concept has changed.”

King has interviewed every president since Gerald Ford in his career, but his dream guest for the new show is President Obama (Obama did appear with King on CNN). “I’d like to have Obama on. Clinton has promised me he’d go on. They [presidents] know my name and have experience with me. They know I’m fair,” he says.

Check out two exclusive clips from the 100th episode below. In the first, King gives some advice on interviewing to Kathy Griffin. The second features clips and outtakes from moments on the show with Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, Susan Sarandon, Nia Vardalos, and more.
