Revolution is getting a president.
The NBC breakout post-apocalyptic drama has cast actress Leslie Hope in the role of President Foster — the tough, seasoned leader of the powerful Georgia Federation (which is, presumably, a rival of its aggressive Northern neighbor, The Monroe Republic, where the show’s action has been set during the first half of the season). The role is a multi-episode guest star arc for the second half of the season.
Hope played Jack Bauer’s wife on the first season of 24 and last year starred on ABC’s short-lived The River. Revolution returns to NBC on March 25. For clarity on that whole Monroe Republic vs. Georgia Federation thing, here’s a handy map:
