Minnie Driver could be headed back to TV.
The actress has joined a pilot Parenthood creator Jason Katims’s forthcoming pilot, About a Boy, based off the book by Nick Hornby.
She will co-star alongside David Walton (New Girl) on the project, playing Fiona, eccentric mother to Marcus, a boy who develops a friendship with an immature bachelor (Walton) neighbor.
In the 2002 movie adaptation, the role was played by Toni Collette, who co-starred in the film with Hugh Grant.
