It seems like 150 years since we last had the opportunity to watch a new episode of Doctor Who — and in a sense that’s how long it has been given the most recent show to feature Matt Smith’s Time Lord was the Victorian-era set special Christmas episode, “The Snowmen.”
But on March 30 at 8 p.m. ET, Doctor Who will finally return to BBC America and kick off the show’s 50th year with a run of eight shows. In next week’s Entertainment Weekly, we will be marking the start of the second half of the current season — and its big birthday — with a Doctor Who cover story.
