AMC is justifiably very proud of its Walking Dead ratings. The apocalyptic zombie drama is the top-rated scripted series among adults 18-49 this season, beating every show on cable and broadcast. In fact, those broadcast hits are apparently so insignificant, AMC can’t even keep straight what networks they’re on!
In a full-page ad in today’s New York Times, AMC touted its ratings dominance to Madison Avenue. But while dissing broadcast rivals, AMC put NBC’s The Voice on ABC and ABC’s Modern Family on Fox. It’s okay, AMC, they’re just typos, it’s not the end of the world (but it is pretty funny).
UPDATE! In response to EW’s post, AMC issued this statement: “It appears our fact checking department was overrun by zombies. We have the utmost respect for these shows and networks.”
