It looks like Elementary‘s upcoming trip to London will become a family affair.

Rhys Ifans has been cast in the recurring role of Sherlock Holmes’ older brother, Mycroft Holmes, CBS announced Wednesday.

The Amazing Spider-Man actor is set to appear in the premiere of the show’s second season, which airs Sept. 26 and will be shot on location across the pond, as previously reported.

Per CBS’ synopsis of the episode, we meet Mycroft, with whom Sherlock once had a falling-out several years prior, after an old case takes Joan and Sherlock to London and they stay with his older brother — who lives at 221B Baker Street. “With Joan in the middle, the brothers are forced to confront their very complicated history,” the network teased.

“I could not be more excited to have Rhys coming aboard,” creator Robert Doherty said in a statement. “I’ve always been a tremendous fan and feel very honored to have him in the fold. Equally excited are Jonny [Lee Miller] and Lucy [Liu], both of whom have worked with Rhys in feature films.  I think this is going to be a lot of fun for all of us.”
