With Heroes returning for a 13-episode event series, titled Heroes Reborn, in 2015, what does that mean for the original cast? Will all the superheroes return? We can’t say for certain, but we do know one actor who’d happily reprise his role.

Robert Knepper, who played evolved human/carnival runner Samuel Sullivan in the original series, told us he would gladly return to the show. “It’s funny. I just did hear about that and I haven’t been approached yet, but I’m hoping that’s just because it’s just happened so quickly. I would love to be a part of it,” Knepper said.

In fact, Knepper would love it if this reboot were only the beginning. “I think the fans deserve a true [summary] of the whole thing, which in typical network fashion, sometimes you can’t always give that because they don’t know if they’re going to pick the show up. People have been asking for this for a long time — ‘Can you wrap this up?’ — and I hope that either it’s a really fitting wrap-up or it’s the beginning of a wrap-up and the fans come back and say, ‘We want some more!’ So we’ll see.”

The possibilities are endless, but Knepper does have one special request: “Hopefully nobody gets killed.”
