Andi Dorfman, the feisty 26-year-old Atlantan district attorney who became a fan favorite after she told off Bachelor star Juan Pablo Galavis and then left the show, is getting another chance at love. During the After the Rose special following Monday night’s finale, Dorfman was announced as the next star of The Bachelorette.
While she made it to the final three, Dorfman decided to leave after her overnight date in St. Lucia, scolding Juan Pablo for saying she made it to this stage by “default.” Watch their confrontation below:
Last week on The Women Tell All special, Dorfman continued her takedown of Galavis, saying, “I think he thinks he was a very good Bachelor. I think it was borderline narcissistic.”
During a live chat with host Chris Harrison on After the Rose, Dorfman said she doesn’t want to jinx anything, but she’s “all in” — mentally, physically, emotionally. And she’s ready to take a leave of absence from work.
“At the end of the day, if I don’t have someone to share my accomplishments or even my defeats with, it doesn’t mean anything to me,” she told Harrison.
The most recent Bachelorette star, Desiree Hartsock, is still happily engaged to Chris Siegfried.
