'American Horror Story': Ryan Murphy confirms season 4 title

Since the end of American Horror Story‘s third season, rumors have swirled on where the show will be taking its twisted storytelling next — and now we have a definitive answer. Co-creator Ryan Murphy confirmed the title of the popular anthology’s fourth season via twitter Monday:

Many fans guessed a circus/carnival theme based on hints Murphy dropped in last week’s Nerdist podcast and though not exactly the same, judging by the design and lettering in Murphy’s tweet, it’s safe to say we’ll probably be headed in that direction at some point next year. Murphy had previously confirmed to EW that season four would be set in the year 1950, and that Emmy winner Jessica Lange “was already practicing her German accent.”

Excited? Not so excited? Ready to see what Lange and Sarah Paulson can do with this theme? (Sadly, Lily Rabe’s return seems up in the air thanks to recent casting news.)
