A crazy season of Survivor got even crazier when terrible Tony decided to blow up his alliance and oust LJ instead — even though that kept the bigger threat of Spencer around and may have turned future jury members against the Jersey City cop…excuse me, “construction worker.” Poor LJ was the victim of a guy who simply can’t sit still. How does he feel about his ouster? We found out when LJ called into Entertainment Weekly Radio (SiriusXM, channel 105) to discuss his big blindside.
Unlike many others who have been betrayed by people on Survivor, LJ harbors no ill will or resentment towards the man who orchestrated his demise. “I have to give him credit,” LJ even says at one point. “It’s a game and we were just outplayed.” However the big fella also does note that Tony could be a bit “crazy” with his schemes — schemes that did not always quite seem to make sense. “I cannot explain anything that Tony does,” says LJ. Well, that won’t stop us from asking him to try! Jessica Shaw and I also ask him who his biggest ally was in the game, whether he would have tried to take Tony out later, and what surprised him most watching the season play back on TV. But that’s not all! First up, after bragging incessantly about how I can actually beat a polygraph, I am administered a lie detector test by a trained professional. Can I sell my lies as truth? Listen in and find out as I get strapped in — literally! — and we find out for once and for all whether I can defeat the undefeatable polygraph.
Then, we chat with James Hibberd about Game of Thrones and the big Purple Wedding. Why James Hibberd, you ask? Because he was there on set that day the big King Joffrey scene was filmed. Not only that, but he spoke to everyone involved as well — including actor Jack Gleason, author George R.R. Martin and showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss. Get the ultimate Game of Thrones scoop from the ultimate source.
